OnePlus officially denies red color option for the 3

A thin, slick, all metal body is definitely among the top draws of the OnePlus 3 . What could possibly make the elegant exterior even more exciting? Well, more colors, of course. Currently, the device can only be picked up in Graphite - a solid, very traditional and elegant choice. But, if you are after something a bit more flashy, OnePlus has also promised a Soft Gold option will be coming soon.
Yesterday, there was also word of an even more extravagant color version in the works - a red one. Renders looked convincing enough and a brief listing on the OnePlus website also provided some extra credibility to the rumor. However, a company representative reached out to us today and officially confirmed that the listing in question was an error and that the handset will only be available in two colors - Graphite and Soft Gold. Bummer!
Still, even without the flamboyant extra dye option, the OnePlus 3 is an excellent device, especially considering its competitive price tag. “The Need for Speed brand is reaching some of the largest audiences it’s ever reached in its history.” It’s a big year for racing games. The iFixit team has been all over Samsung’s latest offerings in both the smartphone and wearable departments. The latest gadget to pay their tool shop a visit is the Gear Fit. The Gear Fit is easily removable from its wristband with a simple push and this enables wristband makers to offer a wide variety of options. As you’d expect in a device that’s so small, everything is soldered on the main chip with only the display, battery and shell being stand alone parts. There’s 16MB of flash memory located next to the 32-bit 180MHz ARM Cortex CPU. Interestingly, the Broadcom dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0+HS chip packs an FM receiver on it. Overall, iFixit rates the repairability of the Gear is 6 out of 10, which isn’t optimal, but it’s okay.
