Verizon starts pre-orders for LG G5 and Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE, launches LG K4

Verizon and LG are having quite a big day today, it turns out. No less than three new LG devices are now listed on the carrier's website, two of which are up for pre-order while the third is actually available already.
Let's start with the G5, LG's newest flagship smartphone. It can be yours for either $624 upfront, or $0 down followed by 24 monthly payments of $26. It will be released on April 1. If you pre-order one, you get a free LG 360 Cam, as well as a free second battery for the G5 and a battery charging cradle.
The LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE was launched last year then sales were abruptly stopped when the Korean company discovered a faulty component. The smartwatch is back, though, with AT&T starting pre-orders for it a few days ago. And now Verizon is following in the footsteps of its biggest competitor, by offering the Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE for pre-order too.
It's priced at $449.99 with a two-year contract, or $499.99 without a service agreement. It too shall ship by April 1, like the G5. And if you buy a G5 or a V10 on device payment, the smartwatch becomes $100 cheaper for a limited time.
Finally, Verizon is launching the LG K4 smartphone today. It's already available to purchase from Big Red's website. It goes for $120 all-in, or you can pay $0 down and then 24 monthly installments of $5 if you so choose.

Future Nokias may have Carl Zeiss optics, but HMD is playing coy

Long before Huawei partnered with a legendary German camera brand, Nokia put Carl Zeiss-branded lenses on its phones. A recent Tweet led people to believe that partnership will not carry over to the HMD-made phones, but now there’s a glimmer of hope. It turns out that was a mistake - the tweet only meant that the current Nokias (6, 5 and 3) do not have Zeiss optics, not that new phones definitely will not have them. Of course, that’s not the same as confirming that they will, even though the tweet ends with a tantalizing “stay tuned”. New rumor suggests OnePlus 3T will be cheaper in China

When the OnePlus 3T was announced last week, its US and European pricing information was revealed - the device will carry $439 and $479 price tag for the 64GB and 128GB variants, respectively, in the US, while in the EU the prices will be €439 and €479, respectively. Now, a new rumor has revealed the expected price tag the handset will carry in China. According to the rumor, the 64GB variant of the phone is expected to cost RMB 2,799 (around $405), while the 128GB model will set you back RMB 3,299 (around $480). The report adds that there's a possibility that the company might bring down the price of the 128GB variant to RMB 3,199 (around $465). The limited edition Samsung Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition smartphone is now available to pre-order in Indonesia. The device is priced at IDR 14.999 million, which translates into around a whopping $1135 at current exchange rates. When the phone was officially announced by the South Korean company last month, it was revealed that the products included in the package may differ by markets and mobile operators. Last week, there were reports that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature facial recognition technology, which will be used to unlock the phone. Now, a new report is suggesting that the tech will be used for mobile payments as well. MIUI 8 to arrive alongside Mi Max on May 10, Xiaomi confirms

We already know that the Xiaomi Mi Max - which is said to sport a mammoth 6.4-inch FullHD display - will be unveiled on May 10. However, turns out that Xiaomi will make a couple of more announcements that day - the company has confirmed that the next major iteration of its MIUI ROM as well as the Mi Band 2 will also be unveiled on May 10. "Evolving from the first version in 2010, MIUI has served as the operating system for over 150 million across the globe," a post on MIUI forum said. "On May 10, we will introduce you MIUI 8, with the features you always wanted and new designs beyond your imagination."
