Now Amazon offering 75% discount on movie rentals

Just a couple of days after Google Play launched a limited time promotion offering 75% discount on movie rentals, Amazon has also announced a similar or nearly identical deal for its Amazon Video users.
This means that users of the service will now get 75% off the retail price of a digital movie rental (SD or HD). As with the Google's offer, the deal Amazon is offering is also only valid for one movie rental per person or account, and expires on January 4, 2016.
Available only in the US, the offer can be availed by applying the promotional code MOVIE75OFF to your Amazon.com account and then proceeding with your digital rental. The total discount applied to your order will be displayed in your order history.

Google Pixel C tablet makes it to the UK, yours from £399

After having become available to purchase in the US yesterday, Google's Pixel C tablet is now also up for grabs in the UK. As is always the case with these things, the pricing is different across the pond. In the UK, the 32GB version of the tablet can be yours for £399, while the 64GB model goes for £479. Don't call it XCOM. I played through The Bureau: XCOM Declassified 's entire floundering tactical shooter campaign wondering how it planned to pull off a plausible prequel backstory to the freshly rebooted XCOM universe. When I got to the end, it didn't even seem to try, content to let us wonder why this 1960s version of XCOM didn't bother to tell 2010s XCOM (of XCOM: Enemy Unknown) that hostile aliens exist and that there's a closet full of working plasma guns somewhere. Not making sense doesn't seem to bother The Bureau, either in story or in its flawed attempt to use permanent death mechanics and strangely shoddy construction. But it sure bothered me. ...
