Google allegedly working on yet another messaging service, this time with chatbots

The Wall Street Journal has reported that Google is working on yet another mobile messaging service, with the twist this time being the inclusion of chatbots.
The way this works is, you can message your friends the way you currently do but there are also chatbots that can answer your queries. The bots will use Google's web search expertise to find answers for your questions. It's like using Google Now or Siri, but you type instead of speaking and it will supposedly be more conversational. Google will probably allow developers to build their own chatbots to include within the service. Not much else is known about the service at this point.
Google hasn't had much success in the messaging and social arena. Most people didn't take kindly to the rebranding of Google Talk to Hangouts and the service has since had trouble finding favor among users. Competitors, in the form of Facebook with its Messenger and WhatsApp services, and Apple with its exclusive iMessage service, are doing a lot better in comparison. This is Google's way to yet again try and get back into the messaging space and at the same time earn revenue by directing users to specific chatbots.

Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 to come with new design, flexible display

The Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 smartwatch has been rumored to come out in tandem with the Galaxy S5. Now a new publication in a Korean media, which claims to be in touch with Samsung insiders, the new generation smartwatch will be announced in March or April. The announcement is likely to happen in London, probably at an Unpacked event. The insider also claims that Samsung has felt the need to radically change the design of the upcoming Gear. The overhaul will include a new, flexible OLED display. Additionally, the report says that Samsung has gone to quite the extremes and has changed all the parts that look “dull or boring.” Previous rumors have hinted that the Gear 2 might be 15-20% thinner than the first generation. 10,000 Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact owners can test drive Android Marshmallow

This way for the Marshmallow trial. Sony's Concept for Android initiative will allow 10,000 Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact owners to beta test Android's new major version. The new software is built on feedback Sony received from the initiative launched earlier this year. If you want in, you'll have to check in with the Concept Sign-up app . It's first come, first serve so there's an element of urgency. Note that the test is limited to select European countries: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, United Kingdom, Ireland or Germany. G4 bootloops are caused by hardware issue, LG vows to repair affected units

Many owners of the LG G4 have complained about a bootloop issue, but so far without receiving any assistance whatsoever from the Korean smartphone maker. Well, that's finally changed. LG has now acknowledged the bootloop issue, and after a thorough investigation has concluded that a hardware problem is to blame. Specifically, the bootloops are caused by a "loose contact between components". The company has vowed to fix the problem for affected devices, with no additional cost for its customers of course.
