Samsung begins seeding Android 4.4 KitKat for Galaxy Note II

Here are some good news for the Galaxy Note II owners across the globe - Samsung has just started to rollout the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the international model.
The firmware update brings the latest Android KitKat 4.4.2 version, which will make your system even faster and snappier, it will also bring fullscreen album art and camera shortcut on the lockscreen, transparent status bar, wireless printing capabilities among others.

 Naturally, Samsung's latest TouchWiz features are also on board - you get Samsung KNOX and Samsung Wallet plus some other minor goodies we've met across other devices. The update won't bring you the Galaxy S5 UI and icons though, in case you were hoping for them.
The first country to get the new update is France, but more markets should be following suit very soon. It is available over-the-air, so you should start keeping an eye on the Settings->About->Software Update menu.

The AT&T version of the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 has payed a visit to the FCC, carrying the model number SM-P907A. The tablet packs 4G LTE connectivity and will operate on the LTE bands 4 and 17. Before the end of the year, OnePlus will unveil a new, even more affordable device. This has so far been confirmed many times by the Chinese company's management. Yet understandably OnePlus execs haven't disclosed any information about the upcoming device's specs. That said, today a new rumor comes to seemingly reveal all of that. 10,000 Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact owners can test drive Android Marshmallow

This way for the Marshmallow trial. Sony's Concept for Android initiative will allow 10,000 Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact owners to beta test Android's new major version. The new software is built on feedback Sony received from the initiative launched earlier this year. If you want in, you'll have to check in with the Concept Sign-up app . It's first come, first serve so there's an element of urgency. Note that the test is limited to select European countries: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, United Kingdom, Ireland or Germany. NSA is able to install spyware on all iPhones

A leaked NSA document proves that the agency is capable of easily deploying spyware on all iPhones and can have access to user data including SMS messages, contacts, and even a user's location by utilizing cell tower information. What's even scarier is that the NSA can remotely access an iPhone's camera and microphone that is infected with the spyware. According to the leaked intel, the initiative, named DROPOUT JEEP, began in October of 2008. The document delineates that the NSA would need physical access to the device in order to install the software, which doesn't sound too bad. However, the German Magazine, Der Spiegel, which also published the DROPOUT JEEP data, believes that the NSA rerouted shipments of brand new iPhones before they went out to consumers to install the spyware. Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 to come with new design, flexible display

The Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 smartwatch has been rumored to come out in tandem with the Galaxy S5. Now a new publication in a Korean media, which claims to be in touch with Samsung insiders, the new generation smartwatch will be announced in March or April. The announcement is likely to happen in London, probably at an Unpacked event. The insider also claims that Samsung has felt the need to radically change the design of the upcoming Gear. The overhaul will include a new, flexible OLED display. Additionally, the report says that Samsung has gone to quite the extremes and has changed all the parts that look “dull or boring.” Previous rumors have hinted that the Gear 2 might be 15-20% thinner than the first generation.
