12.2-inch version of the Lenovo Yoga Book with Android shows up at Amazon priced at just $299.99

At IFA last year, Lenovo turned some heads with its Yoga Book, a 2-in-1 laptop / tablet hybrid that doesn't have an actual physical keyboard. Instead, its so-called Halo Keyboard is flat and doubles as a writing surface, complete with predictive input and autocorrect functionality. So far the Yoga Book has been available with a 10.2-inch 1080p touchscreen, running either Windows or Android.
A model with Chrome OS on board is coming this year, but also a bigger one too. While the Chrome OS Yoga Book has been confirmed by Lenovo already, a 12.2-inch Yoga Book has been listed by Amazon without any proper official introduction. It's not available yet, but it does have a price: $299.99 running Android.
That's oddly cheaper than what the 10-inch Yoga Book costs with Google's OS, namely $499. You don't see that every day, as usually bigger laptops or 2-in-1s are more expensive than their smaller siblings, if just by a tad.
However, the price starts to make more sense when considering the specs. The 12.2-inch Yoga Book is lower-end than the 10.2-inch device. The yet-unannounced 2-in-1 comes with 1,280x800 resolution and just 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage (expandable via microSD). It's still powered by an Intel Atom x5 though, and it apparently sports a 10,500 mAh battery that will give it 15 hours of stamina. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It will be offered in Gunmetal Grey and Rose Gold. It's 10.9mm thin and weighs 1.06kg.

Microsoft releases Hub Keyboard for Android

Microsoft has made yet another app for Android, this time a keyboard. The Microsoft Hub Keyboard looks like a simple keyboard at first but it has a few tricks up its sleeve. The keyboard has four main features. The clipboard feature shows you text you had previously copied so you can paste it with a couple of taps. The documents feature lets you login to your Office 365 account and paste the URL of the files by typing their names. The contacts feature lets you type the name of the contact and paste their details by tapping on the suggestions above. Lastly, there is a built-in translator, which can translate the text you're typing to any other language. That aside, the keyboard is extremely basic and does not even have autocorrect, which makes typing extremely difficult. iPhone SE teardown shows hardware ranging from iPhone 5 to 6s

The Apple iPhone SE is a 6s in a 5s body, but Chipworks dug into the internals and it turns out the story is more complicated than that. It straddles multiple generations - from the iPhone 5 selfie camera to the iPhone 6s chipset, a whopping four generations. The Apple A9 chipset is brand new and the SK Hynix-made LPDDR4 2GB memory matches the 6s as well. The NFC, audio chips and motion sensor are from that generation as well. The storage appears to be from the 6s as well, but an earlier 19nm chip instead of the 15nm being shipped now. The Qualcomm modem from the earlier iPhone 6 model while the touchscreen controller goes back to the iPhone 5s. Surgeon Simulator for iPad is a port of the popular game that was released on Steam last year. Although the game claims to be a simulator, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. The game had you performing hilarious operations on an unsuspecting patient in ways that would send an actual surgeon or patient reeling in horror. Entry-level Surface Pro 4 without pen now available, $100 cheaper

Want a Surface Pro 4 but aren't interested in one of its main selling points, the pen? Well, good news then. If you don't mind grabbing the entry-level model, that is. The Microsoft online store in the US is now offering the Surface Pro 4 with Intel Core m3, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage in a configuration sans pen.
